We are Ivo and Christina, a couple who enjoy working on projects together.

In 2023, we decided to create Luminancia Fragrances. This came out of nowhere. It was not, and never was, our area of work. But the idea was suggested to us. And as we usually say, we were curious. We developed an interest. We developed a taste. We studied and moved forward.

We developed our range of candles and plant diffusers with one idea: to accompany your moments and make them unforgettable in a natural way.

Where are your candles made?

Each of our candles is handmade in our atelier in Lobão, Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal. The entire process is done in-house with care and attention, making each candle a unique piece.

What kind of wax do you use for your candles?

We exclusively use olive wax produced 100% in Europe.

What kind of fragrances do you use in your products?

We use natural fragrance oils that are phthalate-free, paraben-free, cruelty-free and vegan.

What base do you use in your diffusers?

We use an environmentally friendly eco-solvent derived from glycerin, with no inhalation or respiratory toxicity, even over long periods of exposure. It is an ideal alternative to more commonly known toxic solvents.
